Product versus Mailing List
June 11, 2009
If you would ask this question, “Which one is more important – the mailing list or the product?” any savvy marketer would answer you, “The mailing list”.
Principally, any wise business person puts the importance of hungry demand (and not just any demand) in front of the product. In other words, there is no product if there is no demand! And a mailing list represents the demand or your business if you would like to call it.

Does other country still trust filipinos?
February 18, 2009
Why does its more easy for the foreigners to visit our country rather than us Filipino visit other country?…..
Its actually a question from my husband who is right now far from me , He is living in west mobile alabama in USA..the first time he visited the Philippines, he never encountered any problems or any difficulties with his passports or papers, he was allowed to stay for like 21 days and then pay for the waiver to stay if he will stay another more days lol, we got married for almost 3 years ago but funny that im still here in the philippines and he needs to be here every year, processing my spouse visa is not kinda easy, it takes a lot of time and effort to make it right , well if u dont have any problem with ur requirement it will be all easy, but when we first process papers we need alot of money and we dont have enough, so we have to do something to make everything possible, my husband at first easily got irritated how hard for for us to process things..He had a lot of questions like why it is so easy for americans like me to enter this country and then hard for my wife to get into america? I just smiled at him while we were in USA embassy that time..i told him it will be ok…but anyway…he was right.
Bat nga ba ang hirap nating pumunta sa ibang bansa? kung hindi pera, ang hirap at tagal ng proseso..minsan tuloy parang ang naiisip ko wala silang tiwala sa mga pinoy kaya kailangan muna nating mahirapan but then i maybe wrong too.. maybe its just a part of safety reason for other countries specially in usa mahirap talaga pumasok dun.If you wanted to have ur tourist visa? haha u have to proved u have a house and lot , money in ur bank account and a very good job*smiles* pag meron ka nito pasok ka na..ooops no di pa po pala u have to passed ur medical exams
..
But then meron din naman ibang country na madali lang pumunta like singapore and hongkong ..u just need ur passport , and of course your show money…and thats it!
Marami na kasing pinoy na gumagawa ng di maganda sa ibang bansa kaya tuloy kilala na tayo sa pagiging ganun, but have u ever imagine those people who did something stupid just to get to other country? ahmmmm for me not all of them are just stupid , they might have some reason kagaya ng nakikita nilang mas mag go grow sila dun at mas mabubuhay nila ang pamilya nila kaya they dont have any choice but go and do it..(lalo na ngayun ang hirap ng buhay natin dito sa pinas) ..Sana nga lang maging pantay ang lahat ng bagay hehe..kung gaano kabilis ng pag pasok ng mga alien sa bansa natin sana ganun dun ang bilis ng pag tanggap nila sa tin…isnt it sounds good huh?
anyway , you know what me and my husband realized lately?mmm that we should leave everything to God while doing our part. Its just good that God is faithfully giving all the desires of our heart so we have to be contented on what we have but still do our best if we still have another goal to achieve…never stop…dont be disappointed and learn how to follow other’s law ..dito nalang next blogs ulit GOD IS GOOD SMILE AND BE BLESSED..
List of free WiFi hotspots in Quezon City
February 10, 2009
For the reason that I have a new laptop (clap, clap), I have been compiling a list of free WiFi hotspots in Quezon City where we can access the net at no cost.
Interestingly, I learned that the two of the most “covered” areas are the Tomas Morato area and the Trinoma Mall at North Avenue, Quezon City.

Flash Mob
February 9, 2009
Flash Mob: a large group of people who assemble suddenly in a public place, perform an unusual action for a brief time, then quickly disperse. The organization of flash mobs is generally accepted as being limited to the social media or viral emails, rather than organized by public relations firms or for a stunt. Also flash mobs are not politically or commercially motivated as described by Bill Wasik’s in where he said, they serve no purpose (wikipedia)
Recently I’ve been very much entertained watching flash mob videos in YouTube after watching a T-mobile flash mob gig. Though technically, based on the flash mob definition, this is not a flash mob because it was a stunt for a T-mobile ad, but nonetheless it was very much entertaining. As the music progress you can see more and more people “joining” the dance

a brief history of blogging
January 28, 2009
i’ve been searching around on how blogging started and found Clive Thompson’s The Early Years, thought i share this to my fellow IT PINOYs…
January 1994: Swarthmore student Justin Hall creates first blog ever, Links.net.
December 1997: Online diarist Jorn Barger coins the term “Weblog” for “logging the Web.”
April 1999: Programmer Peter Merholz shortens “Weblog” to “blog.”
August 1999: Blogger rolls out the first popular, free blog-creation service.
. . . .
and if you’re wondering about the IT PINOY blogging history, i was able to get a few snapshots c/o Annalyn Yusay’s Blog-o-Rama (posted in 2005).
1996: Lauren Dado, then 10yrs old was the first PINOY blogger!

A draft of a memorandum by the National Telecommunications Commision (NTC) has caught the attention of Pinoy bloggers as it states that the NTC is currently making plans of charging content providers for releasing “content” on the internet.
The memorandum states that all parties who develop content, information, applications, and electronic games over the internet are required to register and pay Php6000, plus Php300 for filing fee.
