Two sundays had passed, we had our RNB night sponsored by our company in PASEO. All of my fellow colleagues were there to lavish the moment of fun, bonding, eating, and drinking. Until, I spot my hero sitting opposite my sight. He was there, alone with his PSP gadget and sipping ICED TEA! In a crowded and noisy environment, he dared gratifying himself with that PSP! Can’t imagine! You have to be drinking beer, boy!

Points of View:
Let’s call it, a night! Yeah, still fresh from the digitalfilipino club networking event that I attended in Teatro Casino of the Waterfront Hotel in Lahug, Cebu City. The event was sponsored by the extravagant PAGCOR. Yippee! Thanks a lot especially for the freebies! More to expect? Looking forward to it, guys! The buffet was indeed filling my stomach with sumptuous meal. And the best part of it? Our new Cebu Bloggers tees were on the spotlight! The ObnoxiousQueer is proud to model the shirt that drool the eyes of the participants! Well, thanks to the creations of Miong and Rianov. Watch out for the Cebu Bloggers camwhoring moves and teasers. Once you hear the cam clicks, it becomes a photo. And pix don’t lie especially if they are steal shots! LOL! Love our shirt? Click here to order!

When I first heard about the new TV show on GMA called “Ka-Blog”, I almost jumped to my feet.
“Ka-Blog? Wow. Is that a new TV show about blogging?”
The thought of such a show was enough to get me excited. Finally, people are slowly starting to realize how big blogging here in the Philippines has become.
Much to my disappointment, I later found out that the show Ka-Blog was in no way related to our favorite hobby. It was actually a magazine type show that features everything about adolescent life.
Dang.

I am not rich. But I dare not call myself poor. This I say in respect for all those who live day by day, without a steady job or none at all, those who do not have access to basic necessities such as food or medicine. I am not poor. I may not have a large amount of cash in my wallet, but having a wallet is a blessing in itself.

Finally, the Journal that bravely challenged the Starbucks Planner!!!!
This notorious Journal I’m talking about is This Journal will actually Change Your Life!!!TM, which we will shorten as JOURNAL for your reading convenience.
And oh, I actually do OWN one of the “This Journal will actually Change Your Life!!!TM” planners.
And
just a reminder, this post was not created to uplift the JOURNAL’s
credibility, it’s just an objective look at the features of two of the
planners available in the market today.
–o0o–
Segment 1: PRICE
Actually,
as of this post, the price of the JOURNAL is still unknown. It’s still
on its pre-sale marketing stages and most likely, I’m pretty positive
that it won’t cost you a thousand.
On the other hand, the
Starbucks planner appears to be free – since you can have it after 21 –
25 cups of their Christmas brews which for me are quite the treat if
you’re an avid coffee drinker. Hehehe.

Recent researches show that more and more Filipino youth are losing interest in studying with every passing year. Because of this, teachers and professors are coming up with unique methods in dealing and teaching their students to make school a unique and interesting experience. Sir Martin Perez is one of them.
Martin Benedict Perez is a social studies teacher at the Philippine Science High School. He is also the blogger behind AkoMismo, where he talks about education, technology, and the state of over-all human society. He started out with his blog as an avenue for his thoughts and writings but later found out that he could use blogging as an aid in teaching and bonding with his students.
And so, he took his love for blogging and shared it with the rest of the class.
Have you ever experienced some confusion or ambiguity re: communication or use of language? Especially when you are in another country?
I was reading the post, The Senate is “Out of Order” in the stressed in the city blog earlier tonight. I was reminded of a time many years ago when Key & I were in a restaurant in Ho Chi Minh City. We were trying to order some food and a couple of items we wanted were not available.

The blogosphere welcomes yet again another empowering venue for the masang Pinoy!
Bilang consumers, we Filipinos, often than not, don’t have much choice in the kind of service we are being rendered, except to take it all with a grain of salt. Madalas, we just bear it and smile, pero with a heavy heart and deep inside, we can’t help but wish na sana magkaroon naman ng ngipin ang batas na nagbibigay proteksyon sa mga consumers, kung meron man.
As ordinary Pinoy telecommuters and bloggers, we have experienced mistreatments from several service providers over the years and always had to face a blank wall in case we opt to file complaints. Providers of internet service, telephone, postal, banking among others seem to have a tight grip on the consumers’ necks. Sad to say, poor quality of service is rampant sa kahit anong establishment, agency o company sa ating bansa and there is really nothing we can do about it.
That is why we welcome BalutPress.Com, a new website that aims to empower the Pinoy consumer by offering its webpages as a collective venue for consumers to air out their grievances against these erring service providers. If we contribute by submitting stories, videos or pictures of our complaints, we will be helping the many other consumers out there by warning them against these entities. In turn, ang mga entities na inirereklamo ay magkakaroon din ng pagkakataon na baguhin ang uri ng serbisyong kanilang ibinibigay sa mga patrons nila.
Ano pa hinihintay nyo? File your complaints na!
