Hiatica’s Bonbons
June 16, 2009
What’s a bonbon anyway?
In Europe, a bonbon is a sweet; the simplest form of bonbon is essentially sugar-coated almonds. In the modern era, bonbons have evolved to be any confection with a fondant center, often with fruit or nuts.
Bonbon is also the term used in French and German for sweetness.
Bouquet de Bonbon is a Confectionary distributor which offers high-end candies Bonbons-Barnier made by the Confiserie House – Maison Barnier located in Normandie, France.
The high quality is maintained by traditional methods long before the industrial age automated all production processes.
Product versus Mailing List
June 11, 2009
If you would ask this question, “Which one is more important – the mailing list or the product?” any savvy marketer would answer you, “The mailing list”.
Principally, any wise business person puts the importance of hungry demand (and not just any demand) in front of the product. In other words, there is no product if there is no demand! And a mailing list represents the demand or your business if you would like to call it.

Privacy, Yes! Negativity, No!
April 12, 2009
I really don’t understand why some online sellers post the details of their transactions — like the buyer’s full name and what he/she bought. If I were the buyer, I certainly would not want that. It’s like going to the mall and buying something, and the saleslady going to the PA system and announcing to everyone “Attention! Miss Jane Doe just bought panties sized XXL.”
One more thing that turns me off is the negativity of many sites. It’s common to see statements like “If you can’t pay blah blah blah, then don’t bid/buy.” Then there are halls of shame and blog posts declaring war against bogus buyers.
10 THINGS I’VE LEARNED FROM MONOPOLY

A few days ago, I was helping my 10-year old son, Trey, design his blog. He has one in multiply.com. The last post he did was last year because he was quite busy doing school work. I told him now that its summer vacation he should continue writing.
I asked him… “what do you like to write about?” [read more...]

It zoomed past the 65 day MA(red line) and closed just above the 130 day MA (yellow line). How to Start An On-line Business (Where to start?)
February 7, 2009
No, I’m not talking about those websites where they will ask you to click a few ads just to stare at it for a few minutes. (Isn’t that what happens?)
I’m talking about your own business. A small profitable enterprise where you can use your creativity and skills. A real business that provides a solution for a customer’s problem.
It could be a pure on-line business where you provide only information or certain solutions to clients or a combination of traditional (off-line) and web-based (on-line) business.
I’ve been in business (off-line) for 12 years but I have only started my on-line business since mid 2007. It has been a very rewarding learning experience since I started one. [Read More]
