I was hesitant at first to start writing this post because I expect many would resent the fact that I dare complain about something many women actually pay to have. But its been a while and I have heard others complain of the same thing. So here goes. There are times, I wish I had a normal sized bosom. By normal, I mean similar to the majority of the local females who are able to buy stylish underwear without having to save a month’s worth of wages (an exaggeration as I assume you know).
Privacy, Yes! Negativity, No!
April 12, 2009
I really don’t understand why some online sellers post the details of their transactions — like the buyer’s full name and what he/she bought. If I were the buyer, I certainly would not want that. It’s like going to the mall and buying something, and the saleslady going to the PA system and announcing to everyone “Attention! Miss Jane Doe just bought panties sized XXL.”
One more thing that turns me off is the negativity of many sites. It’s common to see statements like “If you can’t pay blah blah blah, then don’t bid/buy.” Then there are halls of shame and blog posts declaring war against bogus buyers.

I saw the movie Confessions of a Shopaholic with my wife yesterday. Very funny and entertaining. The movie house was filled with college and high school students giggling during the movie. [click here to read more]

The fitting room
January 2, 2009
I hate fitting rooms. At least those that our local malls, stores, and department stores have. Some clothing stores here even have the nerve to actually NOT have one. Imagine having to try out a dress behind some flimsy curtain, sharing space with ceiling high stacks of the store’s inventory. It would likely be a miracle that you get a full length mirror in these places.

(See enlarged photo below)Cebu’s Sinulog Festival is just weeks away and alongside this grandeur colorful festivity are street dancing, street parties and of course, the much awaited parade of local Cebuana beauties, the Miss Cebu 2009.
Cebu locals and foreign tourists are now keyed up to what’s new and hot the province of Cebu could offer. Will the Miss Cebu 2009 pageant bring charm and harmony to all its spectators? Will it showcase the different talent anchors of Cebuanos in the field of fashion, clothing, arts, photography, computer technology, business, entertainment, politics, medicine and journalism?Focusing on Ms. Cebu 2009 itself, judging on the official photos that were released by the Miss Cebu 2009 website, the candidates looks so

Perfect cover up
December 31, 2008
Are you like me? Do you wish you had the perfect body? You know, ample perky breasts, cute little booty and toned abs like you worked out regularly? Ok keep wishing. Well for those who ARE like me, then a little bulge should not hinder us from being our most fashionable or most confident (my hubby is actually looking at me right now like I’m being weird or something - Men!).
Spring 2009 of Stella McCartney
December 31, 2008

Speaking of Stella McCartney, has anyone seen her creations for LeSportsac.
The company that was infamous because of TokiDoki invited Stella for a little fun. (Fall and Spring 2008)
These bags are like TokiDoki sober with dashes and splashes of Stella’s subtle yet statement-making ways.
Other collaborations are with H&M (the advertising is cool!), Adidas, and Target Australia. (more here)
Recently her collections for Spring Summer 2009 consisted of laces, soft fabrics, men’s tailoring and a monochromatic head to toe look (flesh tones, to stone gray, and the classic black and white).

I saw Mrs. Claus
December 21, 2008
Does having a pair of Santa earrings makes you Mrs.Claus?

I don’t think so.
I found the pair on the way to the gym, her plaid bolero is very interesting but those Santa earrings that are probably made out of beads are just 50%cute and 50%abomination.
If your going for a bizarre Christmas motif, go all the way with the rest of your accessories.
If you’re going freaky this holiday, go all the way.
Victoria’s Secret 2008 + Heidi is the longest running VSA
December 19, 2008
The whole production was a blast and worth watching. Set designs changes dramatically enough to introduce a new world and everyone was smiling! Honestly, a flirtatious outfit cannot fit a high-end fashion facial expression, that’s why everybody’s hair is down.
Heidi Klum is the longest running Victoria’s Secret Angel for freaking 9 YEARS (Not counting her first runway appearance and her first shoot with the company in 1997), along those NINE YEARS, she got married and had children and all those freaky things that happen that causes you to get a little large. Thanks to her personal trainer
Klum worked it just two months after giving birth to her second child, Henry, in a Victoria’s Secret fashion show. She said, “A lot of people come to me, and they’re like, ‘Will I look like you after I have the baby?’ And I say, ‘Well, how were you before?’ You can’t kid yourself.” Translation: I rock it +++++es and you don’t. - babble.com

Bra For Boys
November 27, 2008
This is a weird article. I was browsing My Yahoo! page and saw this odd news from Reuters. Apparently in Japan, a new trend in online shopping is making its scene. After a major Japanese web shopping mall, Rakuten launched its bra for boys, it has sold more than 300 item. The said men undergarment costs 2,800 yen ($30) each.

Viktor and Rolf only used one model… How murderous is that! (Shalom Harlow)
As spring comes close in retail stores, they promise a very bright and fun future.
I mean that literally. In the children clothing store I’m in, girls clothing are having a pastel pallet of bright green, yellow, and (ugh) pink with matching pants.
Same pastel colours are coming in for boys, but darker and less bright.
Mood is very optimistic and fun.
It’s very easy to still use your fall items this summer. Just trim down the volume and pair them with soft fabrics and bright splashes of colour here and there.
On another side of news, I may be going back to school again not as a BS Psychology student, but as a Fashion student. I just enrolled myself (with the help of a overzealous counselor or whatever she’s called.) I may be expecting a call from people that will help me along the way of my admission. Don;t get me wrong, I love being a Psychology student and I will pursue that, but I don’t want to tell my plans that publicly.
In another unrelated story. Prada’s SS09 collection is the blast, but people are not flocking to youtube to see that, let this video explain. (more More for spring 2009.)

The song title itself is enough to catch one music lover’s attention. And the music video is just exactly what I pictures it is as I listened to the lyrics of Rihanna’s latest hit song. After listening to it, you just can’t help but utter the song’s introductions, “bum bum be dum bum bum be dum bum”

Leaning Towards Crocks (the company, at least) is Easy, but this is an Abomination.
October 15, 2008
But I will be dead if I gave one sister one of these.
The Life on Planet Bill captures the hidden wisdom in these contraptions. Though Wikipedia has a good point for these child tether/walking reins as for safety and such, I believe that these are a little extreme.
Even though that for the past years that the these things have been humanized, there still be a feeling of awkwardness whenever a parent is lagging, or controlling, a child by the lease. It’s justs so uncalled for.
Now you know what a dog looking to a tethered dog looks like…. If they have the emotional; capacities of a human that is.
Even though, it is not enough of an excuse to leash another human, a toddler no less. That only works in BDSM.

Bag Talks
September 25, 2008
This is a cartoon about how I hate seeing men carry the bags of their girlfriends. Though some may think that this is chivalry. I tend to think otherwise.(just to let you know that I made that.)
I really dont like the image of a man carrying a woman’s bag. For one reason, it’s so unappealing unless both of them have pre-coordinated matching outfits.
And what can be proven by that VERY shallow action? ‘I’m your +++c+’?
It’s not really romantic when you think about it. Opening the door and giving up your seat is, but carrying your bag will just give you the illusion of a snatcher. (More From Bag Talks)
Chanel Fall 2008
September 12, 2008
Chanel’s pret-a-porter (ready-to-wear) collection for this fall (’08) and winter wants to target a new crowd and a couple of men as well.
While I applaud most of Karl Lagerfeld’s ideas and creations, I can’t seem to get my thoughts out of some of the designs.
There were the classic Chanel tweed coats with tattered slits on the elbow part and some on the skirts too.
Somewhat I remembered my post for jeans that sold for like $40 with tattered slits on the knees. Its like that, but the dress sells for about a thousand dollars. (More From Chanel Fall 2008)
Philippine Juicy Fruits
August 17, 2008
Fresh from his stint in Harvard, United States, where he was granted scholarship in Publc Finance Administration, Usec. Robert T. Rivera went straight to the set of his show: Pilipinas Ngayon Na! Barely days after he arrived in the country, Usec. Rivera hosted the launching of the Philippine Juicy Fruits of Bella Dimayuga. Bella Dimayuga, the very nationalistic President of Bellestar Promotions who conceptualized the idea that her talents be named after Philippine Fruits to promote our country abroad, with his husband Ed, took charge of the affair. The event was splendid! The crowds were so energetic! The voice of “Marvic” a.k.a. “Makopa”, as she dances with the Bellstar Dancers, was so powerful! Usec. Rivera at the set, was amazed. We taped the event from our own cameras we brought in with us and uploaded Marvic’s performance. It was really splendid! Amazing! Amusing! Watch it for yourself to witness:
