Miniscule Detail: It still helps
May 2, 2008
After the very much awaited wedding of Diana Princess of Whales and His Royal Highness Prince Charles, they went over to cruise for their honeymoon.
The honeymoon aboard the Britannia was horrible as Prince Charles told a friend, “That first night was special. It was special enough, of course. But she really was painfully naive.” This shows that P. Charles was not really that attached to his mother because he wants a woman to be caring, nurturing, not to mention experienced. That is all filled by Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cornwall (Camilla Parker Bowles).
Back to the cruise. Both were very different, Diana would be sociable, chattering with the cooks and the other personnel. While, Charles would would just sit like a hermit and read Laurens Van der Post’s books. This also shows that their age gap was not 12, but was 40.
At these times, the Prince cannot function well without a phone call to Camilla.

A New Week Starts! News around the Web
February 13, 2008
I hope everybody had a nice weekend. Anyway, it’s been a while since my last post mainly because of the things I need to finish and no thanks to my cable crap Internet connections which decided to play on-and-off on me for several days.
Here are some interesting news I gathered while browsing on an “almost” dial up cable Internet connection.

An Open Letter to Mr. Technology
December 16, 2007
Dear Mr. Technology,
Hi. I’m Gino Carteciano and I’m a big fan. In fact, I took up Computer Science as a sign of my devotion to you. I’ve been mostly happy with you and your almost magical wonders, but recently, I’ve been getting harassed by your failures that are quite simply irritating and frustrating. I think I’m starting to hate you and everything closely related to you. Well, except the Bionic Woman.

My Two-Item Christmas Wish List
November 21, 2007
I don’t usually make a Christmas wish list, or any other kind of wish list for that matter, but for the sake of giving you guys an idea of what I want for Christmas this year (I better be in your Christmas list, you cheapskates!), I’m letting you know two things that I would really love to have by the end of 2007. Hey, stop whining. It’s either a wish list blog entry or The ANNOTATED Secret History of the Grand Order of FAIL.
The first thing I want for Christmas is an iPod.

No, I’m not a consumer sheep. I hated the buzz it got when it was first released, and I frown every time I hear about a new iPod iteration. Also, I get the urge to punch the nearest balls I could find whenever I see someone wearing white earphones. But, yeah. I think it’s time for me to succumb. Plus, I really want to carry around as many Porkchop Duo recordings as possible.

Nokia to Recall 46 Million Defective Batteries
August 16, 2007

When I heard this over TV, I thought this recall was sparked by a report of certain Nokia owner (here in the Philippines) that her batteries suddenly overheated and almost burned her house. Well, although not entirely due to that bit of news, it has something to do with it.
In an official statement, leading cellphone maker Nokia announced that it will recall batteries of the BL-5C series since they “identified that in very rare cases the affected batteries could potentially experience over heating initiated by a short circuit while charging, causing the battery to dislodge. Nokia is working closely with relevant local authorities to investigate this situation.”

What Your Cellphone Says About You
April 11, 2007
While randomly surfing, I came accros this article in Yahoo Tech by Gina Hughes.
There, Gina cites a survey by Nielsen Media Research which showed that your choice of mobile phone does say a *lot* about your personality. According to Nielsen Media Research associate director Mr. Jody Loughlin, “The type of mobile you’re seen with could even be more important than whether you’re with…one of the other major carriers.”
