USB Upgrade: SuperSpeed USB 3.0

May 8, 2009

The most impressive feature of this new USB upgrade is its bi-directional data interface, which means that the new USB standard will be able to send and receive data at the same time. Yes, absolutely! Every device connected to your PC through USB 3.0 will boast a high data transfer rates compared to current USB 2.0.

Cebu Blogger Society (CBS) www.cebubloggers.com

The SuperSpeed USB 3.0 specification promises to transfer data 10 times faster than the current USB 2.0 standard. If you want a bits and bytes comparison, USB 3.0 comes in at 5 Gigabits per second (Gbps), while USB 2.0 has a top data transfer rate of just 480 megabits per second. That’s what makes this stuff SuperSpeed!

Talking about power…well it’s another nifty feature of USB 3.0 since it has the ability to provide more power- up to 50 per cent more power - to connected peripherals and devices. That will mean fewer additional power bricks will be required by peripherals that can get all of their power through the USB cable… Read More…

Miniscule Detail: It still helps

May 2, 2008

After the very much awaited wedding of Diana Princess of Whales and His Royal Highness Prince Charles, they went over to cruise for their honeymoon.

The honeymoon aboard the Britannia was horrible as Prince Charles told a friend, “That first night was special. It was special enough, of course. But she really was painfully naive.” This shows that P. Charles was not really that attached to his mother because he wants a woman to be caring, nurturing, not to mention experienced. That is all filled by Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cornwall (Camilla Parker Bowles).

Back to the cruise. Both were very different, Diana would be sociable, chattering with the cooks and the other personnel. While, Charles would would just sit like a hermit and read Laurens Van der Post’s books. This also shows that their age gap was not 12, but was 40.

At these times, the Prince cannot function well without a phone call to Camilla.

An Open Letter to Mr. Technology

December 16, 2007

Dear Mr. Technology,

Hi. I’m Gino Carteciano and I’m a big fan. In fact, I took up Computer Science as a sign of my devotion to you. I’ve been mostly happy with you and your almost magical wonders, but recently, I’ve been getting harassed by your failures that are quite simply irritating and frustrating. I think I’m starting to hate you and everything closely related to you. Well, except the Bionic Woman.
