H1N1: Where We Stand
H1N1: Where We Stand
Even before the WHO declared Influenza A H1N1 pandemic alert level phase 6, I have been following the progress of the disease in many countries, especially in the Philippines (where my parents and relatives are), Saudi Arabia (where my family lives), United Arab Emirates, Singapore, USA and Canada. I am deeply obsessed of knowing the latest information on the number of new cases being counted and the progress of treating the patients as well as on the efforts to control the spread of the virus. When I reach home, I relay the news to my husband. I talk to my family about it. I call my friends to update them. I feel that everyone needs to be aware in order to protect themselves from the spreading infection.
Being a pharmacist, although I am currently not engaged in professional practice, I have no doubt that scientists will be able to find a vaccine against H1N1 soon. I am always praying and hoping that a vaccine would be available and that drug manufacturing firms would exhaust all their resources to come up with a prophylactic drug to solve the pandemic.
Hiatica’s Bonbons
What’s a bonbon anyway?
In Europe, a bonbon is a sweet; the simplest form of bonbon is essentially sugar-coated almonds. In the modern era, bonbons have evolved to be any confection with a fondant center, often with fruit or nuts.
Bonbon is also the term used in French and German for sweetness.
Bouquet de Bonbon is a Confectionary distributor which offers high-end candies Bonbons-Barnier made by the Confiserie House – Maison Barnier located in Normandie, France.
The high quality is maintained by traditional methods long before the industrial age automated all production processes.

A Powerful Antioxidant Antiaging
Running can be a powerful antioxidant antiaging. When you run, you burn large amount of stored calories that transformed into fats. Fat people looks older compared to the lean or sexy. Running can also have many psychological benefits based on the runnersguide.com. Most significantly, runners typically report being happier and feeling less stressed than their counterparts who do not run or exercise regularly.
When running, the body releases endorphin hormones that are responsible for the feeling of euphoria. Perspiration or sweating creates a cooling effect that lightens one’s mood. When you run, you strengthen your bones and tendons. This slows down their aging process that would likely result to osteoporosis.
Other Way to Balance Out
You may still remember your teacher in elementary years or in high school and even in college telling you the importance and purpose of food pyramid. Food Pyramid serves as your guide in your daily diet to get the right amount of nutrients and minerals. But then, may be until now you are still ignoring it. Think of it. The food pyramid can be your great ally to help you fight aging. But if you don’t get the best out of it, consider taking supplement water.
If you aren’t getting the proper amount of nutrients from the food group needed by your body to function well, you can find other ways to balance out. The best way is to find supplement that gives your body an extra supports, an extra benefit.
Try looking for supplements that contain variety of natural ingredients. Look for and make sure that anti-oxidants are included in the formula for it will play a very important role in cell regeneration and oxidation. Consider also the presence of alpha hydroxyl acids, which will help balance out the levels of pH and other nutrients in your system.
Vitamins A, C, and E are the common known anti-oxidants. Supplement water contains these vitamins along with other necessary minerals. You will be surprised that it also contains resveratrol that will help fight certain forms of cancers and other diseases. This is no surprise at all actually, because this is made from natural fruit extracts of acai, goji, and pomegranates. Scientific studies published in the internet said that these fruits contain higher amount of anti-oxidant called catechins that can be found also in green tea. Catechins stimulate the natural production of growth hormones in the body thus, regenerates the cells.
With supplement water, you don’t have to worry about nutrients imbalance. But this is not to say that you will no longer watch out your diet and does your work out to be healthy, younger-looking, and active. This is a supplement not an alternative to your recommended dietary allowance. It only helps in filling up the missing nutrients and minerals that will give you extra benefits.
