Religon

I found these posted on the wooden beams in a bus stop. As if the poor pieces of dead trees had not enough to deal with.

This is a very aggressive type of thing from a religious organization. I’m not really sure if that’s peace to me.

At first I thought it was some kind of underground metal band invite or something.

Due to work and all that hoopla. I can’t seem to update on my blog regularly.

It’s been so busy that I can’t even bring myself to relieve myself……

Temptation is Inevitable

I have to confess something. I had been too lazy to finish what I have started. Well not really lazy but I’m always too tired to sit down in front of the computer and make my computer screen bleed with my thoughts. Still if I have the time to do so, my thoughts are so ‘unorganized’ that I don’t know where to start.

Mar Roxas… A Goal Setter Beyond Economic Quandary

Inside the political fence, farther along in time of predicament, there exist a man of substance, he is Mar Roxas, who is here for his endless quest for economic substantiality and revitalization of Independence. A man given a sand-full credit in restoring the true meaning and shape of freedom on what it is intended, expressed, and signified for. He relied much on his wit, believing independence’s key factor for destiny. As of status quo, independence is yet again threatened by political flaws and turncoats hence needed a conspiracy polisher. In contemporary, the government’s health itself is low and vulnerable to mayhem.

Freedom in Chains

Somewhere in the city, someone has to brave the callous deed of selling flesh and soul during the most unholy hours of the night. For men who have deprived themselves of morality or have endured a long dry spell, her meat is perfectly consumable, quenching the patrons’ thirst as water is to mouth. To excite the libido and senses of her midnight riders and to satisfy their phallic ecstasy thereafter is to live for another day. She is free but the oppression that she has to swallow, literally if not figuratively, binds her to a mesh where escape is anywhere near impossible. You call her a whore and she calls men names that can sanctify even the least honorable of all mortals. Aware that the future awaiting her flickers like candle fire in the middle of a raging storm, her free will is as impotent as those who have tasted her skin firsthand. Not surprisingly, her hope grows more elusive today than yesterday and the days that went before.

NO. I DON’T NEED YOUR AUTOGRAPH YOU SELF CENTRIC JERK

During the weekends, I had a desire to do what I really wanted to do in Hawaii in the first place besides education and work. That is to live my life to the fullest and have a grand of an adventure.

No one is given this much for a new beginning.

Especially to the fact that my co-worker noted that I’m becoming one like them because coming to work at JOB-1 seems to be the highlight of my day.

As that little nugget of wisdom made it through my sedated brain I had realized something: Why do we need artists’ autograph on works? isn’t it enough that they poured their blood and sweat though it?

Very odd.

Hayden Kho-Katrina Halili Video

The showbiz buzz about a sex video between Dr. Hayden Kho and Katrina Halili has been the content of news and entertainment shows. The video evoked varied reactions but mostly sympathy was accorded to the young actress Katrina Halili.

It is truly amusing how Filipinos can be affected. Showbiz news are always hot. Filipinos are always ready to give their unsolicited opinions and some being judgmental easily condemned Hayden Kho for the sex video…

The 2010 presidentiable list

2010 presidentiables

(clockwise starting from top left: Bayani Fernando, Ed Panlilio, Gilbert Teodoro, Dick Gordon, Chiz Escudero, Noli de Castro, Mar Roxas, Jojo Binay, Loren Legarda, and Manny Villar)

Just looking at this composite picture makes me gasp for air because (1) it makes me want to boycott the 2010 elections and (2) it makes me realize how doomed our country will be come next year.

These candidates or would-be candidates are not all bad. Personally, I could go for Roxas if he doesn’t marry Ms. Korina Sanchez. I just don’t see Sanchez as a likable first lady because I find her rather ‘plastic’ and I just hate how she never ever comes out like a real person in any of her shows. And let’s be honest, they could have never picked a much time to publicly announce their wedding plans, right? I don’t think Sanchez would win Roxas enough votes to make him president. Maybe he might even lose some because of her. But even if Roxas has a good track record, he seems unlikable for the position too. I don’t know, he seems boring kasi even with that ‘Padyak pa, Padyak!’ commercial of his.

Pacquiao Creams Hatton, Carries the Weight of the Philippines

I have a confession to make. I hate watching burly, sweaty men engage in repetitive, seemingly senseless attempts to beat the living daylights out of each other. That’s why I was never a boxing (and basketball) fan. But thanks to the perpetual advertisements, the amusing arguments by congressmen for trips to Las Vegas and the endless barbs thrown at each other by patriots and traitors to the Filipino race, I was finally hypnotized into standing still with the rest of the nation— for two whole rounds.

Privacy, Yes! Negativity, No!

I really don’t understand why some online sellers post the details of their transactions — like the buyer’s full name and what he/she bought. If I were the buyer, I certainly would not want that. It’s like going to the mall and buying something, and the saleslady going to the PA system and announcing to everyone “Attention! Miss Jane Doe just bought panties sized XXL.”

One more thing that turns me off is the negativity of many sites. It’s common to see statements like “If you can’t pay blah blah blah, then don’t bid/buy.” Then there are halls of shame and blog posts declaring war against bogus buyers.
