27 Essential Wordpress Plugins you should have

Ever since I started using wordpress, I’ve been pretty amazed on the number of plugins it currently has and the numerous features that you can gain if you use those. I would like to share with you my personal list of Essential Wordpress Plugins that you should have.
I’ve broken them down into five (5) different parts:
- For your blog’s visitors - This is to enhance the experience of the visitors in your blog. Make them happy and surely they will return to your blog.
- For your blog’s protection - With numerous people getting hacked lately, you need all the protection that you need.
- For search engines - In order to gain organic traffic (search engine traffic), you should make your blog look good in search engines.
- For your blog’s functionality - Although wordpress already offers a lot of features, there are still some that we crave to have.
- For your blog’s feeds -Not all your visitors read your blog by visiting the website itself. Sometimes, they just subscribe through your feeds and read them there. So you should also make your feeds presentable. Why don’t you subscribe to my feeds too?
Just a quick note: Most of the plugins mentioned in this post are just upload and activate. I will be telling you if you need to do something to make it work. I have personally tested and used each of these plugins. They work with the latest version of wordpress.

My first blog was ranking on Page 1 and there are times that it was dancing on top of Page 2 search results for about six months of continuous blogging. I was so happy and considering that at an early blog age, my free blog site had attained even the second page of Google search results. Well, that was before.

I am joining A Mini SEO Contest

Well I am joining the contest sponsored by Marhgil Macuha , I was on the first page for the last days but now I am on the 2nd page. I really don’t know why. So I have to strive more now to be back on the First Page.
There are only 2 reason, I am Lazy or the competitors are very eager to go on top for Marhgil Macuha Key Word. That is I have to find out.
Anyway I am on top at yahoo and who knows before the end of the contest I will be out of the first Page.

Embedding PowerPoint Slides in Blogs

Have you noticed that the Blogger/Blogspot post editor only offers photo and video upload? The illustration below shows the icons that you should click if you want to upload photos or videos from your hard desk. However, what if you want to upload PowerPoint or PDF files? There are no straightforward options that you can choose. Hence, the best option would be to first convert the files into some sort of codes and copy-paste or embed them onto your blog in similar manner that YouTube videos are embedded on blog posts. Beats me if this is old news to other bloggers but for the sake of those who doesn’t know it yet, here is a nice tip for your adsense setup. This tip is very timely because I recently discover some of my ads are irrelevant to my post. And here is something I would really, really want to experiment on my adsense.
I came up with this site teaching how to deal with the situation with just two lines of code that you would add on your html. Im keeping my fingers crossed and hoping for the success that this section targetting thingy would pump up my adsense earnings.
