Eksena Manila: Slo-Mo
June 1, 2008
For our second mission, we turned a bookstore and a cinema lounge into a slow-pace place. Have fun with the report and some pictures behind the scenes.
No. of Agents: 22
Mission Date: May 15, 2008
Mission Name: Slo-Mo (Slow Motion)
Planning: Agent Pao
Digital Video: Agents Rob and K
On the scheduled time, agents would slow down for 30 seconds then back to normal movements for another 30 seconds before going slowmo again until the three minutes allotted time for the mission expired. The group concentrated in the area where private reading is allowed. At the start of the mission, some people immediately noticed the fuss and started to get curious. Other confused customers are clueless on what was happening around.

Adding Personal Logo or Watermark on Video
March 2, 2008
I already have uploaded 35 movie clips to youtube and not a single one has my personal logo or watermark on it, except for the occasional overlay subtitle which is available on the Title and Credits section of Movie Maker 2.1. Not until I’ve finally learned and mastered the secrets of making it(lol), and I would gladly share it with you blogger or vlogger.

Bakla’s Video Blogs
January 27, 2008
In 2006, I started a series of video blogs about my silly and boring life on my personal blog. It started out well but didn’t end. Yes, it didn’t end since like the Writers’ Guild of America, my brain went on strike. I left it hanging and all my two avid viewers were eagerly awaiting for a fourth episode (I stopped after the third).
Fast forward to the year 2007 when I started Bakla Ako, May Reklamo? and ventured into so many things aside from plain blogging. I did podcasts, created some videos, and well, new blogs.
Sometime last year, I launched the Bakla Goes Live! campaign with a bang but didn’t really do a follow-through. I did a collaboration with the premiere video blogger in the country today — Coy Caballes aka Cokskiblue. The only follow-up video I made was the Hot Filipina video, which was an entry to the Filipina Writing Project. Oh and yeah, that Vlogging Memoirs of a Gay-Siya video too! After that, it was zilch.
So today, we are re-launching the Bakla Goes Live! campaign with the pilot episode of our new series — “Are You ‘A’ Gay?†You would notice that the article “a†is unnecessary and is wrong to use. I will not go out of my way to defend that and say that it’s correct because it isn’t. Continue Reading >>>

I don’t know if some of you were already born during 1970’s era; but it’s always nice to look back on the good old days when air in Manila is not that polluted and life during those days was so simple. Remember the bell bottom pants and the pointed collar shirts???? lol
After you watch this Coke TV commercial of Tito, Vic and Joey you will definitely remember the past.

October 29, 2007
Now, in the spirit of celebrating the birth of my new home (thanks BratyFly!), I have whipped up a mini-blogging project for everyone - open for all interested bloggers. This aims to spread the word about the magic of the growing craft of vlogging (video blogging) in the Philippines and to encourage pinoy bloggers to try it out.
And come to think of it, there has not been much about Pinoy Vlogging when you search it in Google. Hope this will be a good start.

Bakla Talks to You!
September 22, 2007
So this is it! All roads led to this entry! As you are reading this entry, we probably are somewhere out there, beneath the pale moonlight! We recently revealed that we are on a quest to achieving multimedia excellence and this surely puts a feather on our cap (etchos!).
Today, we are launching our series of video blogs for Bakla Ako, May Reklamo? and we’re starting the series with a bang! We have collaborated with one of the country’s most influential video bloggers (vloggers) in these first set of videos! Yes, ladies and gentlemen, we are honored to have worked with the Hot vlogger Coy of Cokskiblue! Coy is well-known in the blogging community for his artistic and socially-relevant videos. His most viewed video is the controversial Malu Fernandez ode that ANC used in one of their shows without proper attribution.
In these series of video blogs, Coy and Bakla became part of what is deemed to be the country’s first ever quadmedia conference/launch of a stage play. We were there as Tanghalang Pilipino launched the restaging of the award-winning play Insiang (click here for their official website). These video blogs were part of an event which has never happened before, and we daresay that it is indeed an historic event. Among the many once-in-a-lifetime incidents that transpired during the launch was the appearance of the elusive Mario O’hara, whom we heard has never seen his own work, Insiang - not on television, not on the silverscreen and not even through the velvet curtains!
Bakla Goes Live!
September 20, 2007
In the Bakla Ako, May Reklamo? Blog, we have posted entries, photos and podcasts. And in the quest for multimedia excellence (charot!), we are going one step further by doing video blogs! Sure, Baklang AJ has previously recorded video blogs for his personal site, but this time, it’s gonna be different and our video blogs will tackle issues and events related to this site.
And what better way to start our video blogs than with a bang, right? Bang! We have collaborated with one of the country’s most influential video bloggers and in an event which will surely inspire and awe many. Watch out for Hot Men, Pretty Women, and a Hot Co-Vlogger on

UPDATE! The Thank You Post: I Won Free Domain and Hosting!
September 8, 2007
Although I’m awfully down these days because I practically went blind broke my eye glasses in half just in time for 2 exams and a major thesis presentation AND I’ve been turning into this solitary creature/hermit I don’t have a phone for five, straight days now, I know I still got a lot of things to be thankful for since I started vlogging about 5 months ago. I’m not going to bore you with a very long post; I’m just looking back at all the good stuff I’ve had before I end this season’s run of CokskiBlue tonight:
1. Winning FREE DOMAIN AND HOSTING at PinoyBlogosphere.com’s BratyFly B-Day Post! I just had to post a comment on what I feel about PinoyBlogosphere.com and added some suggestions for the site and I got the prize! JM Tuazon also won a surprise prize from the birthday girl herself. Thank you very much BratyFly! This gift just came on the best time possible. You really made my day.
Now, the first name I thought of was CokskiBlue.Net (now I’m more leaning towards .com) but I’m worried about name-recall and people always misspelling my vlog’s name to “COKSIblue”. Should I change it to HiGuysThisIsCoy.com? CoyCaballes.com? Any suggestions? Help me out. Please.

Diyes Is It!
July 21, 2007

Emerging. Influential.
Joining Ms. Janette Toral’s writing project, The Top Ten Emerging Influential Blogs in 2007, made me think what these words really mean. Which blogs could these be? I tried to build a somehow complex criteria but it just made my head hurt. Blog hopping for hours trying to find a site which fits “influential” perfectly zaps the energy out of me, let alone add more criteria names to my “to-Google” list.
So, to make life simpler, I’ve nominated blogs which have influenced and inspired me in some way, and have sketched new ideas to my skull.
Now watch my video entry and tell me what you think.
Only two one weeks left to write your own entries and get the chance to win $100! JOIN NOW!
Good luck to all the nominees!
Huling Hirit
July 10, 2007

Man, I’ve got the worst hangover.
Of summer, that is. Since classes started this June, can’t seem to fully adjust to the new schedule I have to put up with. Maybe I miss the super hot days when I have no reason to leave the house or even get out of bed, the events we have to organize, or staring at the computer ’til dawn. It’s hard to focus on academics when Wifi can reach you almost everywhere and blog hopping could be as easy as a sit in the park. I need to let go.
So now, on the turn of a new month, I will firmly stand by my decision to leave behind (temporarily) some “luxuries” I had back then. Looking back, it’s been fun but I just have to think– Dude, you’re graduating dammit! — and that should shake me up and put my priorities in place.

Bloggers Exposed! Dos

Previously on Bloggers Exposed!Â
The Aftermath.
After a few pitchers of Jerbaxx, several plates of kropek, sisig and other pulutan, the group had to retire again to the minor-friendly McDonald’s to finish up the celebration. Some are drunk, some are sleepy (and grumpy) and everybody were just sooo excited to get a lick off the cake.
