My Jealous God
I grew up “knowing†God.
Growing up in a Catholic setting, I was practically spoon-fed with stories of God’s overflowing love for mankind, his merciful nature, his kindness, patience for sinners, tolerance for man’s sinful nature, his loving ways and his pure heart.
So, just imagine my shock and utter disbelief when, at age 31, I was being “indoctrinated†into believing that my God is a jealous God and a God full of wrath for man because of man’s sinful nature. God, a jealous God?

One of Warren’s favorite dishes is beef brocolli.
Incidentally, brocolli is the only green thing I can eat with gusto.
Unfortunately, it is also the only thing I could not cook properly… I can cook paella, arroz valenciana, menudo, afritada, sinigang, sisig, pinakbet, chop suey – whatever, anything, everything, except beef brocolli. It’s either the florettes get overcooked and turn yellowy brown and limp or the beef isn’t tender enough to the teeth.
Until today that is.

Just when you thought everyone was innocent, a sex scandal would pop from nowhere. It’s unfortunate that one of the victim on this latest sex scandal is my longtime crush, Cecilia Cheung. Apparently, these scandalous photos were taken by Edison Chen in 2005, stored on a laptop, and “stolen” by the people who repaired the laptop.
