Let’s call it, a night! Yeah, still fresh from the digitalfilipino club networking event that I attended in Teatro Casino of the Waterfront Hotel in Lahug, Cebu City. The event was sponsored by the extravagant PAGCOR. Yippee! Thanks a lot especially for the freebies! More to expect? Looking forward to it, guys! The buffet was indeed filling my stomach with sumptuous meal. And the best part of it? Our new Cebu Bloggers tees were on the spotlight! Philippine Juicy Fruits
Fresh from his stint in Harvard, United States, where he was granted scholarship in Publc Finance Administration, Usec. Robert T. Rivera went straight to the set of his show: Pilipinas Ngayon Na! Barely days after he arrived in the country, Usec. Rivera hosted the launching of the Philippine Juicy Fruits of Bella Dimayuga. Bella Dimayuga, the very nationalistic President of Bellestar Promotions who conceptualized the idea that her talents be named after Philippine Fruits to promote our country abroad, with his husband Ed, took charge of the affair. The event was splendid! The crowds were so energetic! The voice of “Marvic” a.k.a. “Makopa”, as she dances with the Bellstar Dancers, was so powerful! Usec. Rivera at the set, was amazed. Yes the GRP will not lose our sovereignty over Mindanao, but let us not be surprised when, as virtually a caretaker government, the Arroyo administration finds it necessary to stay in power with the pretext of upholding peace and order in the territory of the Bangsamoro.
Just how close have they studied the consequences of the preliminary agreement to be signed tomorrow by Presidential Adviser on the Peace Process Hermogenes Esperon, Jr. and the Moro Islamic Liberation Front? Are the silenced people of the Moro “homeland” prepared to see themselves under a brand new government of military oligarchs who for years have stood their grounds against each other? The absence of an apparent leader will result to a war of factions similar to that froth of hostilities already brewing and spewing in Baghdad. The government who would be closely monitoring the juridical state endowed with a regional security force (that would surely be used as clannish or partisan bodyguards) will find it soon imperative to sound an alarm after threats of infantile destabilization in the Bangsamoro, paving the way to more breakaway groups and imminent extremism.
To understand the future of Mindanao we must understand its present status. The numbers of dissenting groups have long lurked in the shadows, and they are waiting for the slackening of the Moro ties to the GRP before they re-emerge into the political battlegrounds. That site scammed me and took my $34.95! I was scouring the net for online job opportunites so I can supplement my present income when I found this good-looking site that offers not so big amount of money that I can earn once I joined them. The money was not that big but if you think of it, you will at least earn 100$ a month, if it is really a legit site. Anyway, joining and setting up an account is free, the only thing that a member have to do is clik on the ads on the site and wait for 30 seconds for the few cents to be credited on your account. One ad is worth $.01. But this site has also other features. A member can have people under him/her once they purchased networks which costs according to your chosen package. Like myself I bought 35 networks or other active members, which cost me almost $35, and whose earnings will be credited to my account. it’s a networking, so I earn a portion of their income.
It was doing ok for the first few months, I can see that I am earning everyday. If we want to cash-out, the minimum amount of money that we have on our account should be at least $10.00. I had already more than $34 in my account, so I thought I should try to cash-out my money and see if this site is for real. I did cash-out… But guess what I found out? processing of the payment for those members whose membership is standard will take 60 working days, and those membership is premium is 30 working days. hmmmm… why such a long processing time? According to the site, it is because they wanna make sure that they don’t make mistakes in paying every member so everything should be taken with so much care, and that is why it took them a long time to pay the members who made a cash out transaction.

Parents board flight, forget toddler at airport
OTTAWA, May 13, 2008 (AFP) – Tickets, check. Passports, check. Luggage, check. Baby … oops.
A family boarded a flight on Monday in westernmost Canada, and forgot their tot at the Vancouver international airport, media said Tuesday.
The 23-month-old boy’s family had just arrived in Canada from the Philippines, but they were forced to repack their overweight bags before catching a connecting flight to Winnipeg, causing them to run late.
In their sprint to the gate, the family became separated.
The boy’s father Jun Parreno, told local media he had thought his son was with his wife and the boy’s grandparents, who ran ahead. They thought the boy was with his dad.
On the plane, the family members were seated separately and so did not immediately realize they had left the child behind.
