iPad launch date in the Philippines
I was at Powermac center at the Bonifacio Hight Street yesterday and I was able to ask the manager details on the iPad. According to her, the iPad is going to be available in the Philippines this coming May. There’s no price tag yet for now but it won’t be too far off from the price announced...

32GB iPad with 3G costs just about $287 to build
A virtual breakdown by iSuppli suggests that Apple will most likely get maximum profit from their mid-range iPad variant, the one with 32GB of storage and 3G wireless capability. The said model was priced at $729 but has a combined manufacturing and materials cost of about $287.15.
