Among the few places I’ve been to, Tagaytay gets the number 1 slot. I discovered Tagaytay...

I first learned about Happy Cream Puffs when my Japanese teacher gave us these custard-filled buns during her birthday last month. At that very instant, I fell in love with this heaven-filled bun. “Krispy Kreme is definitely out of my list”, I thought to my self.
This afternoon, I got…

Where I’m from, in San Diego, California, you usually go for some Mexican food when you need to feed an insatiable hunger. It’s also the best cure for hangovers and for late night after-party tummy growls. But here in Manila Philippines, you never go wrong with some Persian food!

One of the perks of being a father that I enjoy the most is having kiddie moments with my own child. I’m such a kid-at-heart, so dealing with my preschooler son isn’t a big deal especially if it concerns his appetite for ice cream….
Can you imagine a world without ice cream? :(
We...

Other than great-tasting food, enticing ambiance, impeccable service, location and figures on the menu, my wife and I always look for family-friendliness in any food place.
Because we love our Kindergarten son, Gabby so dearly, he’s our topmost priority of course, particularly in choosing a...

There is something in La Marea (I.T. Park or Crossroads) that those with a sweet tooth will love – the Brownie Cup! La Marea’s Brownie Cup is a highly recommended dessert. There is something about the combination of the hot brownie and ice cream that is addictive. It’s probably called sugar and chocolate but let’s just call it Special Ingredient X.
Caffeinated drinks at La Marea are okay and reasonably priced but nothing to jump up and down for.
La Marea is a great place to hang out with friends and family. Great interiors too! Check out the Pakalistas’ post on La Marea at their food blog.
