.PH and .COM.PH domains being dropped and not being renewed

What I’ve been noticing today is the increase of expiring .PH and .COM.PH domains, some of these domains are the ones I’ve been waiting for and have been looking to register myself. But today, it kind of gave me a huge question mark in my head as to why the owners are not renewing or reregistering...

Observations with my dotPH investments in .ph and .com.ph domains

I’ve started investing in .PH and .COM.PH last 2009 around April to May, it was one of my largest investments online costing me thousands of dollars to register. I certainly believe in its value that its going to be worth a lot in the future one day, but as to when that could be still remains to be...

How gTLD still dominates ccTLD

I personally have invested in both gTLDs and ccTLDs, and my route is similar to Morgan Linton of Domainvestors, where we develop our domains into minisites. After investing in a few gTLD, I felt that I wanted a new opportunity and jumped on the ccTLD bandwagon, little that I know that it is a very long...

But I was wrong, if it was just spare change that I wanted then I could do so without spending, but that...

Ugly Minisites earn more money in the short run

Ugly Minisites are supposedly earning more money than the well designed counterparts, this has been a very popular topic and has been well discussed by domainers online. However, my problem is just that I couldn’t really take seeing my website being ‘ugly’. I would spend some time and designing...

Domain Secret kept by domainers

What’s really interesting for me to see is how, us, domainers would give our daily tips and insights to the industry while keeping most of what domain topics they invest in or how we plan to develop it as a secret. At first, it got me a bit confused, like even though I know what to do, I have no clue...

I’ve completely stopped buying domains and start focusing on developing

The problem I had in 2009 was that you hear different sales stories on how one domain was sold for millions and thought that if I buy this domain it could be at least worth thousands in someone’s eyes. I was just wrong, so this year my focus is to completely stop buying domains and focus on developing… …...
