People’s Choice Awards 2010 online
This 36th edition of the People’s Choice Awards will kicks off on Wednesday, January 6, 2010 at Nokia Theater, LA. PCA covers different categories of entertainment such as television, music and movies and the winners are chosen by the fans nationwide. This year mega hit vampire drama Twilight is among the nominees that earned most number of nominations in movie, earning 7 nominations alone, including the Favorite movie of the year and a Favorite Movie Actor for the lead star Robert Pattinson. People’s Choice Award will also give awards to the best TV shows with a categories includes Favorite TV Drama, TV Comedy, TV Talk Show and TV Competition that will determine what was the fans favorite reality show. PCA 36th edition also introduced new TV category, the TV Obsession, with nominees Dexter, Gossip Girls, The Hills, The Secret Life of the American Teenager and True Blood.

Movie: Avatar
“Avatar” is my best movie for the year 2009. A two-and-a-half-hour epic by James Cameron, a long movie yes, but with his storytelling prowess and the visuals and special effects a masterpiece, you wouldn’t notice the time at all.

A Record Underwater
Do you believe in the theory that smokers don’t have powers underwater? Say YES and I’ll be proud to spitthis on your face: I’ve been underwater for 1.5 minutes, without snorkel, and was able to pose. Hail to the Chain Smokers League of the Philippines! A “layman’s theory” had just been Scrapped!
The first paragraph is absolutely pointless and senseless. Well, I’m just happy to spread the message that I was able to pose underwater, that’s all. For me, it’s an achievement because not everybody who smokes furiously can pose underwater, I believe. Also, I was able to surpass my friends’ underwater posing skills. Note that he doesn’t smoke! Ever!

Saw the exorbitant baby of james cameron today.Though the movie didn’t catch much of my fancy in the first half and i felt quite drowsy while watching it but the later half was a part that was truly brilliant not only because it was filled with great effects but also that it portrayed the callousness of human mind wonderfully.Never had i seen people clapping while humans were losing out to aliens.While i saw destruction of the beautiful habitat of the alien land my mind wandered back to earth.I had like all always heard of people exploiting the earth but had never felt anything about it.Watching it made me realize how much bad we could actually do and apparently have even done it to an extent.Putting it simply-i felt bad.
I went inside the theater to suck in the value out of my money but got outside with a much greater feeling or rather a responsible feeling:)
Watch 2009 MTV Video Music Awards
Its time once again for the music fan around the globe to tune in for another exciting ceremony that will give honors to top music videos of the past year. Announced last August 4 the 2009 MTV VMA nominees are once again up for the awards in different categories of MTV video music such as best male, female, rock and hip hop video, as well as Video of the Year, which every artist is craving for.
This year, Lady Gaga’s hit “Poker Face” video is up for Best Video of the Year inline with Single Ladies by Beyonce, Eminem’s “We Made You”, Kanye West’s “Love Lockdown” and
Britney Spears’ “Womanizer”. Lady Gaga and Beyonce are topping the field, earning nine nominations each.

2009 CMA Awards Nominees annnounced on Good Morning America
Morning show Good Morning America together with country stars Darius Rucker and Lee Ann Womack, announced the 2009 CMA nominees
this morning. Kenny Chesney, Taylor Swift, Keith Urban, George Strait, Reba McEntire and Martina McBride were among the nominees.
Also included in the nominees are Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood who will be handing out the awards on Noverber 11 at the Sommet Center in Nashville. Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood are also the reigning male and female vocalists of the year.
