My Modeling Workshop

Just wanted to share with you my workbench and the tools I use for Gundam/Model Kit bashing. I also have some gear for Toy Photography. Basically, the setup is the entire third floor of our house, which is an open terrace/attic. There, during weekends, the gang converges and we do all sorts of wacky...

I was browsing the net today for an interesting manga to read.  When I stumbled upon this Gundam titled manga, I needed best arthritis treatment to pull myself back.  I’m pretty sure you’ve heard of Gundam, but in any case you have not, Gundam is a huge robot or “Mecha” anime series which...

Would you believe that the MSN-06S Sinanju pictured above is made ENTIRELY OF CARDBOARD PAPER?!? Yup, peeps. Awesome, awesome work by fellow gamer, mech enthusiast and friend Gian Carlo Wisco. Gian says that; “It’s made out of f160 gsm board paper and stands at 27 inches.” I’ve...

Gundam Tieren Diorama Part 3 (Final Stages)

I suggest you check out Part 1 and Part 2 of this project before you go further. I already pre-built the Tieren for this project. Anyways, just a short recap from the previous post. In Progress: Gundam Tieren Diorama

To raise the bar on my model kit (modeling) hobby skillz, I’ve decided to make my first diorama. The protagonist for this piece is my Tieren Ground Type which I completed October of last year. I’m sure it will look better in a nicely detailed diorama. For the diorama, I’m envisioning...

Drossel Equip: Saber +1 (ATK +5)

Was fiddling around with the bits and pieces from my GFFs and I figured one of them sabers from the GFF Blue Destiny Gundam would fit in Drossel’s hand. The left one was a bit too tight but the right hand was a perfect snug fit. Thus this series of photos where our resident office desk princess...

Dusting Off Robots

When I started collecting Japanese toys, my starting point was robots. I was into the super robot genre before anything else (Voltes V, Daimos, Combattler V, Mazinger Z, etc.). As I grew older, I moved towards the real robot genre because the technology was more realistic than the super robot genre...

Hoooza!  A nice long weekend! After the Sazabi, I bought two gundam kits. Both were new releases and from the Seed series. I already finished assembling and painting the first one, the Gale Strike. Now, I’m starting on the next project, the Regen Duel. I still have to catch up on blog posts for...

Keita: HGUC Hi-Nu HWS

Aaaaaaand Keita does it again. This time in HGUC fashion. This is his custom HGUC Hi-Nu Gundam HWS. You probably remember seeing those three letters at the end of the Nu Gundam designation. I honestly don’t recall seeing a Hi-Nu Gundam with HWS parts. HWS parts were originally used on the Nu Gundam....
