I had to buy some things for the office yesterday and ended up in another SM mall, this time the one in Marikina City. SM is the largest chain of malls in the Philippines and it currently has eleven in Metro Manila alone, not counting its stand-alone hyper-supermarkets. The mall in Marikina is its newest...

I really like them.A message for City Daily Photo bloggers:Firstly, the simpler announcement—our December 1 theme is Waiting. Secondly, there's a...

Something’s missing

The gold-painted rattan Christmas trees and balls in yesterday's post were also The Podium's decorations inside the mall. Even with the addition of more gold-painted ornaments on the trees, however, the decorations hanging from the skylight of the atrium just doesn't strike me as being festive enough....

Southgate Mall – the New Mall in Town

Southgate Mall opened yesterday – pay day, the new mall located in front of the MRT Magallanes/Mantrade Station in Makati City.

This is the same property that many are very familiar with – the forever under construction Southgate Tower. It isn’t anymore, after it was bought by former trade and industry czar Roberto Ongpin.

Come and get me! Parking

It was a few weeks ago. My family and I decided to go to Mall of Asia. It was a weekend. I was preparing myself to the reality that parking will be so hard!

As we entered the parking area, I knew I was right, parking was full. Looking around, we saw many red dots, one each on top of every parking spot. The red dots were LED lights. So you see hundreds of those lights floating around.
