Beating the Odds — a book about President GMA

It's rare that I ever blog about anything that has to do with politics. I avoid political topics like the plague for many reasons which I will not go into now.Just this morning, I learned about this book entitled Beating the Odds. It's about how Philippine President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo formulated...

being somebody

I used to think it takes a lot to make something out of someone. As a child, I was taught to study hard so that I may be somebody someday. When I started working, my bosses would drill how hard work and dedication play a big part in promotions. These things were ingrained so much that just recently I...

What platform?

Good God. What the hell kind of pap is the Liberal Party trying to pass off as a party platform? A President to Remember..

The President Cory funeral cortege took the same road when Senator Ninoy was also brought to his resting place – via Makati’s portion of the South Super Highway or as known today “President Osmeña Highway”.

Since it’s in our neighborhood, I went outside and joined the thousands of Filipinos waiting to give their last respects to the 11th President of the Republic of the Philippines – President Corazon “Cory” Cojuangco-Aquino.

I brought home 426 photos, 332 of which I uploaded online. These photos captured the Filipino people during her time of mourning as a Nation. If you weren’t there, then I hope these photos will allow you to go back in that point in time and be there as well, together with us.

The photos will speak for me and express for me what it was like being there. So join me as I show you: A Story to Tell… A President to Remember.
