Prediction on Red Mobile
Yesterday, Nov. 22, 2008, was the launching of Red Mobile. It’s a rebranding of umobile.
It’s a prepaid service offering 0.50/min call and text rate red to
red. Sounds cheap?
Guess again! I was excited at first but when i read that the sim will only on 3G phones, i was dismayed. Not only that but, the internet browsing, which most mobile users are beginning to use costs 7.50/min.
So before you get the benefit of the low rate, you have to shell out around 5K for a 3G phone and ask your friends to do the same.
Now, anyone still interested?
