Reusable bag from the Philippines
Reusable bags are now in. I just saw a CNN video that featured the Philippines recycling billboards into bags. I was in the Philippines last year and I saw a lot of billboards along EDSA and C-5. Check out this link for the video.
But have you ever wondered who really started the reusable bags? or where it came from?
I remember when I was a kid when my lola used a bayong. I am guessing that it might be the 1st reusable bag in the Philippines but it slowly faded away when plastic bags were introduced. I believe with the trend of reusable bags, we as Filipinos, can be proud and say that we have one that has been used for decades.

Papers … waste not!
We use lots of papers in the office…for printing documents and the like, as well as cc’ing to relevant people. Everytime I print pages and pages of paper and photocopy more of them, I can’t help thinking about all those trees that have been felled, and the effect on forests and the environment, in processing and disposing them.
How can we reduce the use of too much paper? Read more here …
