The upcoming 2009 MTV Europe Music Awards will take place at the O2 World in Berlin, Germany on November 5. The LIVE awards show will be hosted by pop icon Katy Perry. The Nominees for the awards were already announced last September 1, 2009. Famous Artists like Beyoncé, Lady GaGa, Black Eyed Peas, Kings of Leon and David Guetta are vying for the “Best Song” award.

Also, LIVE performances by Tokio Hotel, Green Day, Leona Lewis, Shakira, Foo Fighters, Jay-Z, U2, and Beyonce. The Backstreet Boys, Jonas Brothers, and “The Animal” Batista are also at the event night to present the awards together with other celebrities.
